Cecil Teen Convicted of Killing Mother in India
Media reports indicate Joncarlo Patton was sentenced to three years in a 'special home.'

A teenage boy from Cecil has been sentenced to three years in an Indian home for juvenile offenders after it convicted him of killing his mother.
The Press Trust of India reported that Joncarlo Patton was convicted and remanded to a "special home" for juveniles after more than six months of court proceedings.
"Pronouncing the verdict on Monday, the Juvenile Justice Board convicted the teenager for murdering his mother Cynthia Iannarelli in August last year in a desert resort, some 65-km from Jodhpur," the web site reported on Tuesday.

The Justice Board also convicted him of destroying evidence, the report indicates.
Media reports indicate the teenager maintained his innocence, and wrote a letter to the board indicating he believed that he was "wrongly implicated" in the case.
