CM: Final Budget Numbers Coming; Updated Cuts Announced
A new document outlining cuts was unveiled on the district's website on today.
Canon-McMillan school leaders on Wednesday posted an updated online document outlining the various cuts that will be included in the district's final budget—one its business manager said will include no tax increase.
The document (attached) references the wage freezes agreed to by the district's collective bargaining units and administrators. Other cuts have been made in equipment, travel and supply budgets.
In addition, the district has eliminated the open position for an assistant high school principal.
