Dog And Cat Perish in Lawrence Fire
First responders said the house on Second Street sustained fire and smoke damage—but that both people home got out safe.
A dog and cat died in a house fire in Lawrence Saturday night, but family members said both people who resided in the Second Street home—as well as another dog— got out safe.
First responders said there was "severe fire damage" to the basement, by minimal smoke and other damage to the rest of the house.
Several volunteer fire departments responded to the call, including Lawrence and Canonsburg.
