Dog Shot and Killed, North Strabane Police Investigating

The incident happened Tuesday afternoon.

When Shane Fowler of Eighty Four left for work Tuesday, the family's two dogs were fine. When his girlfriend left the house at 2 p.m., the pups were alive and well—as they were an hour later when the man's two school-aged daughters came home from class.

But Fowler told police that when he arrived home around 5 p.m., his dog—a Shiba Inu breed—was lying in the driveway of the family's 60 Carl Ave. residence.

The dog had been shot dead.
