Drugs Disposed: Canonsburg Police Participate in Take-Back Program
Today is the final day to drop off prescriptions.
Canonsburg Mayor David H. Rhome said the first-ever drug take back program has been a successāwith the borough police department collecting more than 17 pounds of unused prescription medications the first day alone.
But today is the final chance for residents to dispose of unused, unwanted, unneeded medicationāno questions asked. The collection will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Canon House Apartments.
The program is sponsored by Rhome, the Washington County Chiefs of Police Association, the Washington County District Attorney and the United States Department of Justice.
