Five Things You Need to Know This Week

Canonsburg Council and Canon-McMillan School Board both meet this week.

Here are five things you need to know this week:

1. Council will hold its voting meeting at 7 p.m. Monday in the borough building. Council is expected to vote on advertising an ordinance that would set a weight limit on Gladden Road and McEwen Avenue. To view the entire agenda, click on the borough website here (and scroll down).

2. will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the district administration building for its non-voting building. A copy of the agenda was not immediately available early Monday morning.

3. It is national Fire Safety Week. Local first responders want to remind you to check the batteries in your smoke alarm.

4. 'Tis the season for a Pumpkin Patch Trolley. The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum starting Friday is inviting you to come take a ride on the trolley, pick out a pumpkin and make your way to a decoration station to personalize your guord. Want more details?
