FYI: Meeting Reminders

The Labor Day holiday forced two local communities to reschedule their regular monthly meetings, which are normally scheduled for the first Monday of each month.

Board of Supervisors will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. tonight. An agenda was not immediately available Monday morning. At 5:30 p.m., the board will hold a public hearing regarding an overlay district related to Marcellus Shale drilling. Both will be held in the meeting room in the township building.

Council will hold its agenda meeting Sept. 12. It's voting meeting will be held Sept. 19. Both meetings are at 7 p.m. and are held in the borough building.
