Why Go?: Canon-McMillan High School will present "Jesus Christ Superstar" Thursday through Saturday. Canon-McMillan's production will minimalize both the religious and hippie references to present it as a timeless story. Tickets are available at the door.

Why Go?: Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Dr. Seuss's classical stories. All weekend long there will be story times in honor of the author's spirit and imagination.

Why Go?: Canonsburg General Hospital will offer a Basic First Aid Course. The course instructor will teach proper first aid procedures for breathing emergencies and the care and treatment of bleeding, heart attacks, shock, wounds, poisoning, burns, bone fractures, frostbite and other medical emergencies. This basic first aid course offers a two-year certification through the American Heart Association. Call 1-877-284-2000 to register.

Why Go?: Adults and students in grades 11-12 are invited to this soap making class at the library. Come learn how to make scented bath soaps for your guests or yourself. Call 724-745-1308 to register.

Why Go?: Boot Camp is now being offered at DiCesaro Spine and Sport in the North Strabane Towne Center! This class meets every Saturday morning for a fun filled, no experience necessary hour of fitness. If you have been looking to start a fitness program but weren't sure where to go or what to expect, this class is for you. Classes are taught by certified fitness professionals with Graduate degrees in fitness, injury prevention and sports performance. Drop ins are welcome. Call 412-299-3824 or 724-745-5116 to enroll.

Pricing: $50 a month (four classes) or $30 a month (four classes) if you are the parent of a sports performance client or $60 a month for unlimited access to the camp and gym facilities.
