Gun Threat at High School Deemed 'Non-Credible'
North Strabane police will still maintain a 'very strong' presence at the school today.

Teachers and administrators at were told to be on alert for any suspicious activity today after someone threatened on Wednesday to bring a gun to the building.
A school board official said early Thursday that the administration and North Strabane police had “thoroughly” assessed the threat Wednesday and determined that it was “non-credible.”
But the school official added that the administration held a staff meeting at the end of the day Wednesday to ask all members of the faculty to be alert today. A message was also sent to parents through the district’s one-call system.
