This Monday, we celebrate Labor Day. For many, it is the symbolic end of the summer season, but it is important to remember and reflect on its true meaning.
Labor Day is a day intended to honor and respect the working men and women of our country—past, present and future.
Please accept my sincere thanks for all that you do to make Pennsylvania a better place to live and work.
Later this month, my colleagues and I will return to Harrisburg to begin our fall session schedule, and we have much to accomplish the remainder of this year.
I expect to take up many pressing issues currently facing Pennsylvania, including job creation and stimulating the local economy; environmental, community infrastructure and tax concerns related to natural gas drilling; and legislation to privatize the state's liquor stores.
I am eager to get to work on these issues and many others that will help improve Pennsylvania.
I will keep you updated as more action arises. If you do not already receive my email updates, please sign up on my website, www.pahouse.com/Neuman. You can also follow me on Facebook.
Again, I wish you and your family a safe and happy Labor Day! If you have any questions about any state-related issue, please contact me.
