Hey, Check Those Batteries, Huh?

Members of the and fire departments took a minute to pose for the camera to remind you that this is national Fire Prevention Week.

If you have kids in the , expect them to come home this week with stories about how firemen came to class to teach them about safety measures.

Members of the two local departments will be onhand at each of the district schools this week to teach kids about what they need to do if they are ever in a fire—and how to prevent them.
