Washington County 911 confirmed that Interstate 79 near the Southpointe exit is reopen after a fatal accident that happened around 5 a.m. Friday.
The supervisor confirmed that one person was ejected from the vehicle, and that Washington County Coroner Tim Warco was called to the scene.
State police were still on scene as of 8 a.m., he said.
