Jack-O-Lantern Jog a Success
Organizers said 286 runners took part in the seventh-annual event, which benefits The Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan.
Despite the brisk temperature and snow, 286 runners and walkers participated Saturday in the —an event that raised more than $28,000 for The Community Scholarship Foundation of Canon-McMillan.
The money will be awarded to seniors graduating from Canon-McMillan in May 2012 as scholarships.
The Community Scholarship Foundation of sponsored the Jack-O-Lantern Jog, and organizers said fundraising is ongoing throughout the year.
