Jack-O-Lantern Jog Slated for Saturday
The proceeds will benefit Canon-McMillan's Community Scholarship Foundation.

It's not too late to sign up for the seventh-annual Jack-O-Lantern Jog 5K/1-Mile Stroll—the proceeds of which will benefit the Scholarship Foundation.
The 5K Race is professionally scored and special awards will be given in the following categories: the top three overall men and women, and the top two men and top two women in the Masters Division (age 40 and older).
Medals will be presented to the top five finishers in 14 different age categories, and in the category of heavyweight men (190 pounds and more). Teams of five or more individuals are invited to compete in the 5K Race. The five-fastest finishing team members will be scored for team awards in the categories of first, second and third place overall.
The One-Mile Stroll is described as a "fun and crazy event with surprises along the course. You can walk! You can run! You can be any age!" in a release—which also stresses that the event is fun for the entire family and is not timed or scored for awards.
