Last Call For Swimming at Town Park

This weekend is your last chance to take a dip in Canonsburg pool—which had another successful season.

Attention swim fans: Last call for a dip in Town Park Pool is this weekend.

borough Manager Terry Hazlett said the pool will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday before closing for the season.

And what a successful season it was.

He said more than 800 people bought season passes this year, which broke a record.

Hazlett attributed the surge in attendance to more than $500,000 in improvements made to Town Park pool.

Concerts held there on Wednesdays and Sundays also were well attended this year, he said.

Hazlett added that the park's pavilions were booked and Camp Splash, a day program for kids, was sold out all but one week this summer.
