Local Leaf Collection Dates Announced

Autumn's tapestry of red, orange and yellow foilage is oh so pretty—until the leaves end up scattered in piles all over your yard.

If thsoe falling leaves have inspired you to go get your rake out of the garage and bag them up, here's what you need to know about local leaf collection dates and times.

• If you live in , you have two chances to get your leaves picked up: Saturday, Oct. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 12. Residents are asked to place leaves in a biodegrable bag at the curb.
• If you live in , leaf collections start today and will continue every Tuesday through Nov. 22. Residents are asked to rake leaves to the curb, or to place them in biodegradable bags there. To call for a pickup, residents may dial the township building at 724-745-2227.
• If you live in , leaf pickups are scheduled Monday through Friday. To find out when your street's pickup day is, check out the township's website here.
