Man Accused of Killing Elderly Woman to Stand Trial
Frank Russell Jones will stand trial on homicide charges.

A man accused of killing an 80-year-old East Finley woman Sunday will stand trial for homicide and other charges, according to online court records.
The Observer-Reporter in Washington reports that Frank Russell Jones, 23, slit the throat of Opal M. Bedillion when she opened the door, according to testimony by a state trooper today during his preliminary hearing in Central Court.
Jones remains in Washington County Jail and is not eligible for bail.

Warco pronounced Bedillion dead at 3:37 a.m. Sunday. A news release from his office indicated the manner of death was homicide and the cause of death was a knife wound.
