Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash Charged With DUI

Cecil Township said the man's blood alcohol was nearly three times the legal limit.

A Georgia man who in Cecil Township earlier this month has been charged with driving under the influence.

Cecil Township police Lt. Shawn Bukovinsky said Brian Keith Chase, 41, would also be charged with driving with a DUI-related suspended license. The man also did not have a license to operate a motorcycle, Bukovinsky said.

Police said tests revealed that Chase's blood-alcohol content was .22 percent—which is nearly three times the legal limit in Pennsylvania.

Police said Chase lost control of his blue 2001 Suzuki Intruder while traveling north on Route 980 on June 2. He was flown to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh for treatment, where he was treated and released.
