Neuman Named to Judiciary Committee

State Rep. Brandon Neuman, D-North Strabane, was appointed recently to the committee.

was appointed recently to serve on the House Judiciary Committee.

"I'm honored to receive an appointment to this important committee that plays a vital role in crafting legislation that reduces crime and protects the safety of all Pennsylvanians," said Neuman, D-, who is a licensed attorney. "This appointment allows me to bring the concerns of residents of the 48th Legislative District about law and order to the table as legislation is debated and developed."

Neuman also serves on the House Aging and Older Adult Services, Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Consumer Affairs committees.

Neuman replaces state Rep. Josh Shapiro, D-Montgomery, on the Judiciary Committee. Shapiro won election to the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners.
