PennDOT Announces Maintenance Work
Here's what you need to know to get around this week.

Washington County Maintenance Manager Jeff Breen announced the following work scheduled this week by the state Department of Transportation. He reminds motorists that all maintenance activities are conducted on a weather-permitting basis.
Breen also asked motorists to drive with caution throughout all work areas and be alert for signed work zones requiring the usage of headlights.

- Sub-base widening will be performed on state Route 519 in the Canonsburg area
- Bridge flushing crew will be working in various areas in the county.
- Brushing will be performed along various routes in the county.
- Signs will be updated, downed signs will be replaced, and work orders will be addressed on various state routes throughout the county.
PennDOT has a 24-hour toll-free number residents can call to report road- maintenance concerns. This number can also be utilized to report locations of dead deer on state highways.
