Personal Care Home Patients Relocated After Medication Violations There
A spokeswoman for the state Department of Public Welfare said there were "serious medication-related violations" at Rest Haven Personal Care Home in Canonsburg.
The Rest Haven Personal Care Home in Canonsburg is closed after the state Department of Public Welfare initiated an emergency relocation of all its patients Thursday, a spokeswoman for the department said.
Carey Miller said the emergency relocation was the result of “serious medication-related violations that were found during one of their inspections.”
The department had been monitoring Rest Haven for two years, Miller said.
