Pittsburgh Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Drug Charge
Canonsburg police assisted in the investigation leading to the arrest.

A resident of Pittsburgh pleaded guilty in federal court to a charge of violating federal narcotics trafficking laws, U.S. Attorney David J. Hickton announced Wednesday.
The assisted in the investigation that led to charges against Robert Jennings, 26, who pleaded guilty to one count before U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Schwab.
In connection with the guilty plea, the court was advised that from Jan. 2010 to March 3, 2011, Jennings conspired to distribute and possess with intent to distribute at least 60 grams of heroin.

Schwab scheduled sentencing for 9:30 a.m. May 8. The law provides for a total sentence of up to 30 years in prison, a fine of up to $2,000,000, or both.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Pittsburgh Police Department, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Pennsylvania State Police, the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office, the Ross Township Police Department, the Canonsburg Police Department, and the Allegheny County Police Department investigated this case.
