Canonsburg Police Charge Man With DUI After Chase
Court documents show Eric W. Boyer was jailed for fleeing and eluding Canonsburg police—and that he had a blood-alcohol level of .20 when he did it.

on Wednesday charged a Pittsburgh man with a felony count of fleeding an eluding police—and court dockets show he had a blood-alcohol content of at least .20 while doing it.
Online court records show that Eric W. Boyer, 23, was also charged with two counts of driving under the influence, a count of driving with a BAC of .20 percent or more, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and other offenses.
The Observer-Reporter in Washington indicated that Boyer had led police from Canonsburg and several other local communities on a chase early Wednesday.

Court dockets show he was arraigned before district Judge Ethan Ward and remanded to the Washington County Jail after being unable to post a $35,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear before district Nov. 2 for a preliminary hearing.
