Range Resources to Cecil: This Could Go To Court
Words like "buffer" and "setbacks" caused sparks to fly at a public hearing Tuesday.
An attorney for Range Resources on Tuesday told Cecil supervisors the township "could" end up in court over an ordinance they are mulling regarding Marcellus Shale drilling.
Supervisors ultimately continued the hearing about the ordinance, which would create a natural gas development overlay district.
The board's next public hearing on the matter will be at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 8 in the township building.
