Roundup: Cecil Sets Budget Adoption; Reorganization Meetings
Here's what you missed if you didn't attend Cecil's board of supervisors meeting Monday.

's board of supervisors on Monday took the following action:
- Supervisors reminded residents that their final budget meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, and that municipal and tax offices will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan 2 in observance of Christmas and New Year's respectively.
- The board awarded a $281,227 contract to Stewart Contracting for bulk excavation and other work at Klinger Road Park. Stewart submitted the lowest of seven bids for the work, which was recommended by the township's Parks Steering Committee. Supervisors reminded residents that the project is funded through grants and donations.
- Supervisors appointed Bob Abt to the township's parks and recreation board.
- The board set the time for reorganization, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 3 at the township building. The board's regular monthly meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
- Supervisors set the for 9 a.m. Dec. 29 in the township building.
