Spotlight: Why I Love Town Park

My favorite days of summer

Where can you have a blast on a playground, do some cool tricks on your skateboard, run around with your friends, and go swimming to cool off all in one day? Town Park, of course.

This is the best place to be on a warm day in the summer. I love to go to Town Park because there is so much to do, and I never get bored.

The playground at Town Park is the best. When I want to fly high on a swing or go super fast on the slide I feel great. The climbing wall is amazing and I love to climb up and down with my friends.

After I play on the playground, I walk over to the skate park with my skateboard. I can’t do many tricks yet, but I like to watch some of the older kids use the halfpipe.

To end the perfect day, I go over to the pool to escape the summer heat. At the pool I do everything. I start on the diving board and make a big splash in the cool water.

Then I head for the speed slide. Next I go over to the twisty slide where I swirl down and rocket out into the water. When I get hungry I go straight to the concession stand and get a candy bar, french fries, soft pretzel, or maybe even a piece of pizza.

Then after I eat, I head over the main pool and have some fun swimming around with my friends while we throw around a ball and swim in the splashes of the fountain.

My favorite days of summer are my days spent at Town Park. I cannot imagine a better place to meet my friends and play or swim. I love Town Park.
