Spotlight: Why I Love Town Park
Lacey Chappel, a pupil at Borland Manor, was a second-place winner.

Editor's Note: Each day, Canon-McMillan Patch will feature one of the winning entries in the essay contest sponsored by Canonsburg's Parks and Recreation Board. This is the second entry. Enjoy!
It’s certainly not boring!
I love Town Park because of the pool. The pool is fun and wet. My little sister, Jelena, loves the baby pool. I also love Town Park because of beautiful playgrounds. They’re always so much fun and exciting.
I also like Town Park because without it, I wouldn’t be able to play softball games at my home field. I also wouldn’t be able to have practice there.
At Town Park, I go on walks and try to find blackberries so I can pick some. Without Town Park I would be lost and bored.
