Spotlight: Why I Love Town Park

I love Town Park for many reasons. I find Town Park a great place to go during the summer and even better place to go swimming. Town Park has an amazing pool which is very big and everybody has a lot of room to swim.

Town Park pool has everything you can think of and anything you could ever want there. Some of these things would be a pool, music, slide and diving board, concession stand, yard to lay out in the sun, and a baby pool with many things to do inside of it.

The pool also stays very clean which is also very good. The pool has a perfect tint of blue to it to make it look like the ocean, and my favorite part is the fountain in the middle of the pool that I always like to hang around. It splashes water on you and is just a very pretty thing to see.

The music is a very important part to the pool; it adds a lot of taste to the pool. Walking around with music playing makes it better to just hang and lay down for a break. I think it brings a lot of peace and joy to the pool. The slide I go down about every time I’m there! It’s bright and yellow and just stands out! Something that made me even happier is when they added another slide! This time it was a swirl slide! The swirl slide is definitely my favorite of the two; it’s fast and fun to put my hands up and just fall right into the water.

The diving board scared me at first because it was at the deep end of the pool. But I’ve seen my sister go off it so many times and just thought I would give it a try. After many motivation speeches from my sister I eventually did it. I had so much fun the first time that I went off again and again.

I absolutely love the concession stand! There are so many things to buy at the concession stand such as hotdogs, fries with cheese or nachos and cheese, lollipops, about all the candy in the world, popsicles, chips and about any kind of ice cream.

Whenever you come to the pool, it’s always nice to bring a blanket or some chairs to lie out in the sun. They already have a chair there for you so you don’t have to bring extra luggage with you for somewhere to sit. Lying out in the grass is very relaxing when you just need a break from swimming or to get something to eat. The open space in Town Park is very useful.

Surprisingly, I like the baby pool! We’re not allowed in it, but it’s still fun to watch all the little kids play in it and stick their feet in. It keeps your little brothers or sisters occupied while you swim in the big pool with your friends. Town Park is an amazing place to hang out with your friends and family and I’m planning on going there every day that I possibly can! There are so many things I love about Town Park I could talk about it forever.
