“This is a great opportunity for young people to learn how to collaborate to solve problems and then apply those new skills to their daily lives,” Pang Fu said. “We need to prepare them to come together and to get along, so they can work to solve the world’s problems using the art of diplomacy.”

The instructors and guest presenters are experts in their fields, and include international business executives, conflict-resolution practitioners, seasoned educators, and an award-winning television producer.

Although there is a fee to participate, scholarships are available through the generous support of The Grable Foundation, The Heinz Endowments, The President's Discretionary Fund of The Pittsburgh Foundation, The Richard King Mellon Foundation, Brown Brothers Harriman, UPMC, and PNC.
