"I am looking for students with an enthusiasm to learn more about Pennsylvania's legislative process and who want an upfront look at how sate government works, both in the Capitol and in the local offices," White said. "Students should expect to become familiar with the legislative and budgetary priorities facing Pennsylvania, which will lend interns valuable experience to use as they further their careers."
He said all interns are required to have completed at least their junior year of high school, or be enrolled in a higher-learning institution. Successful applicants must have a driver's license or reliable transportation and be able to work approximately eight to 15 hours a week on a fixed schedule.
