Washington Teen Killed in Rt. 19 Crash
Excessive speed could have been a factor, authorities said.

A teenager was killed Tuesday after being ejected from a vehicle in which he was a passenger Thursday night on state Rt 19 in North Strabane Township.
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco on Wednesday said the car in which Nathan Singo, 17, of Washington, was a passenger hit several traffic barriers and a construction sign on state Rt. 19 at Lindley Road around 9:50 p.m.
According to the release, the vehicle then crossed the southbound lanes and rolled several times before coming to rest on the shoulder of the northbound lanesāduring which Singo was ejected, Warco said in a release.

Both Singo and the driver of the vehicleāwho was not namedāwere taken to Canonsburg General Hospital. Warco pronounced Singo dead around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Warco on Wednesday said the death was accidental. The news release also indicates that "excessive speed is believed to be a factor" in the accident, which is being investigated by North Strabane police.
