Patch Picks: Character Breakfast Scheduled at Canon-McMillan High School

So, what are you doing Saturday?

Because 's drama club will be hosting its annual Character Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday in the high school cafeteria.

The $5 ticket includes a full breakfast with pancakes, sausage and a beverage, as well as two crafts, tattoos, face painting, and of course, storybook characters who will come to each table to read their stories.

This is the third year for the Character Breakfast, which has grown in numbers each year.

Proceeds from the event will used to help support the Canon-McMillan High School drama program along with the club’s charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Tickets will be available at the door.
