• Referendum involving Luzerne County election workers won't be on Nov. 3 ballot (hazletontimes.com) — Luzerne County Council approved $150,000 in opioid settlement funds for Beyond Addiction’s female recovery programs in Carbondale and Tunkhannock, which also serve Luzerne County women. Council also advanced, but delayed, a referendum on Election Day workers, approved dozens of repository property sales, and extended the Keystone Job Corps lease, shaping regional services that can affect Carbondale-area residents.
