Carlisle man dies after fall at Ricketts Glen State Park waterfall (local21news.com) — A 75-year-old Carlisle man died after a roughly 40-foot fall near Tuscarora Falls on Ricketts Glen State Park’s steep Falls Trail, officials said. Emergency crews attempted CPR but he was pronounced dead, and investigators are still determining what role, if any, trail or weather conditions played in the tragedy.

Here are the Mid-Penn's 2026 spring sports all-division teams (cumberlink.com) — Carlisle’s Ryan Hillard was named one of the Mid-Penn Conference’s coaches of the year, highlighting local success in spring sports. The all-division lists also recognize dozens of neighboring athletes from Sentinel-area schools in baseball, softball, lacrosse, and girls volleyball after standout 2026 seasons.
