Myself and a plethora of other people feel that you represent a very poor illustration of our legal and judicial system, and justice in our country, in what you did to that young man. A young man who acted in defense of himself or another, when he supposed violated your shady little wiretap law. I have some news for you. Videotaping in a public place is not illegal. Videotaping includes audio, so your law is suspect to begin with. Furthermore, as an arbiter of justice, you seem to only here what you wish to hear.
When someone says "I did it to prove to my mother it was happening, and I was not exaggerating....", it is implied that the issue was previously reported to the school, and left unaddressed. It is quite clear who you appear to be protecting here-an unethical teacher, and an unethical administration. You ,and they, have all colluded to deny this young man of his right to equal protection under the law, and a right to receive a public education in a safe environment.
I would urge you to review your information and your decision, and reverse this grave injustice with all due haste. Every victim in this nation has their eyes on you at this moment in time. Frankly, I am ashamed of you, and I do not even know you. But then, that is something I am being accustomed to by the people who purportedly represent the interests of the people of the United States of America.
I further suggest that you demand charges filed on all of the bullies involved, including those responsible for the destruction of evidence relative to criminal behavior.
