Colts Trounce Trinity For First Win
Versatile quarterback Wayne Capers shines in 37-14 victory.
Chartiers Valley senior quarterback Wayne Capers proved to be a triple threat Friday night by scoring three different ways, making Chris Saluga the school’s winningest coach with 54 wins.
Saluga was pleased the Colts bounced back from last week’s dismal loss against the Montour Spartans.
“Well obviously there were plenty of mistakes to improve upon from last week,” said Saluga. “I challenged our guys to one, improve on our mistakes and two, let’s come out positive and work to get better this week.”
