• Eddystone police arrest man illegally carrying firearm (delcotimes.com) — A 21-year-old Chester resident was arrested in nearby Eddystone after police say they found a loaded handgun without a serial number tucked in his waistband during a traffic stop on Chester Pike. He faces firearm and drug-related charges, remains in county prison on $60,000 bail, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Aug. 31.
