1 Teen Dead In Double West Mt Airy Shooting Monday: Police
Police said two 17-year-old boys were shot early Monday evening. One died and the other survived.

WEST MT. AIRY, PHILADELPHIA — One teen is dead and another suffering from a gunshot to the back after shots were fired in the early evening Monday in West Mt. Airy, police said.
According to Philadelphia Police, two 17-year-old boys were shot at about 5:34 p.m. on the 10 block of West Sharpnack Street in West Mt. Airy.
One boy was shot in the head and collar bone. He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and pronounced dead at 7:55 p.m.

The other was shot in the back and was also taken to Einstein. He is in stable condition, police said.
Police did not find a weapon at the scene and have not made an arrest.
