The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted for the stage by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon’s popular novel, opens on June 12th at The Stagecrafters. 
Christopher Boone, a 15-year-old, curious, brilliant, neurodivergent young man investigates the mysterious death of a neighbor’s dog. This decision leads him to discoveries that turn his life upside down, drawing him into an unfamiliar and overwhelming world.
The play premiered at London’s Royal National Theatre in 2012; it won the Olivier Award in 2013 for Best New Play and five Tony Awards in 2015 including Best Play and Best Actor.

This event raises funds to support the programs of the Mt. Airy Learning Tree, but it’s also about celebrating our community. Most importantly it’s about neighbors teaching, and learning from, neighbors.The garden locations remain "hidden" until you pick up your map and wristband on the day of the tour, June 14, at Ned Wolf Park, between 11:00am and 1:00pm. You do not need a physical ticket, just check in at our registration table. The gardens will remain open until 4pm. The tour is rain or shine.
The Hidden Gardens Tour is NOT a walking tour; driving is recommended. For bike enthusiasts, we will have a bike map available this year! Just ask for it when you register. The tour is self-paced and self-guided, with gardeners available to answer questions at each stop.

The annual Purcellville Wine and Food Festival returns on Saturday, July 18, in Dillon’s Woods at the historic Fireman’s Field Complex (250 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville). The festival will take place from 2 to 8 p.m., inviting guests to gather with family and friends for an afternoon and evening of local wine, beer, food, live music, art, and more.
This year’s event will showcase 40 vendors, including wineries, breweries, food and snack vendors, and local exhibitors. Enjoy live music performances by the Rick Reaves Band, The Darby Brothers, and the Franklin Park Big Band. The “Arts in the Garden” section, hosted by the Purcellville Arts Council, will highlight local artists who will create works of art live on-site. Additional activities include face painting and a photo stand-in booth. 
Early bird ticket pricing is available through 5 p.m. on July 17: 
• Early bird admission (ages 17 and over): $5 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink tickets (6 oz wine or 12 oz beer): $8.50 (+ tax)
