2 Cops Hurt After Cruisers Crash In Mayfair: Philadelphia Police

Two police cruisers crashed, and one of the involved cruisers hit a civilian vehicle, as well. The officers suffered minor injuries.

PHILADELPHIA – Two Philadelphia Police Department officers were injured as a result of a vehicle crash involving two police cruisers and a civilian vehicle Friday afternoon, police said.

According to police, officers were responding to a call at about 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Brous and Unruh avenues.

One cruiser was heading north on Brous and crashed into another cruiser heading east on Unruh, police said.

The second cruiser also hit a civilian vehicle, according to police.

The two officers were taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police said the civilian driver was uninjured.
