4 Sought For Weekend Shooting In Wister: Philadelphia Police

Police said four men shot numerous rounds at an unknown victim, riddling nearby homes and vehicles with bullets, over the weekend.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are looking for four men who opened fire on a person over the weekend in the city's Wister neighborhood.

Police said at about 1:03 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, four men were seen on security cameras in a 2012 to 2015 white Toyota Corolla on the 200 block of East Armstrong Street in Wister.

The footage showed the men shooting numerous rounds at the unknown victim, police said.

After the shooting, one suspect chased the victim on foot toward Baynton Street, shooting while the chase happened, police said.

The suspects then fled in the Toyota toward Rubican Street, police said.

Numerous bullet holes were found in homes and vehicles in the morning, police said.

Police did not find a victim and are trying to figure out who was being shot at.

Police said the suspects looked like men in their 20s and all were armed, wearing dark clothes and blue jeans.
