Armed Robber Hits West Oak Lane Store Jan 19: Philadelphia Police
Police said the suspect is 18 to 21 years old and made off with cash after pulling a gun on the store's owner on Friday, Jan. 19.
PHILADELPHIA – Police in Philadelphia are searching for a man who held up a West Oak Lane business at gunpoint on Friday, Jan. 19.
According to police, the suspect entered the 74 Convenience Store located at 1951 74th Ave. at about 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19.
The suspect, armed with a handgun, said he was robbing the store and demanded money from the owner.

The owner gave the suspect money and then the suspect fled on foot heading north on Andrews Avenue toward Sterling Street, police said.
No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

Police described the suspect as a black male 18 to 21 years old who was wearing a plan black "Champion" brand hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and was armed with a handgun.
