Bells Mill Road In Chestnut Hill Closing Saturday: City Officials

CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA – A portion of Bells Mill Road in Chestnut Hill will be closed all day Saturday to accommodate perimeter clearance work, according to City officials.

From 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., the road will be closed between Germantown and Henry/Ridge avenues, Saturday Nov. 25.

Drivers should detour around Bells Mill Road on Harts Lane then to Church Road onto Park Avenue through Andorra Road to Northwestern Avenue and then make a right unto Germantown Avenue.

The work should be completed and traffic should be restored by 6 p.m.

During the work, Parks and Recreation staff will make every effort to minimize the inconvenience to affected drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, residents, and businesses.
