Police Limiting Broad Street Parking On Super Bowl Sunday

With Eagles fan expected to take the streets Sunday after the Super Bowl, Philadelphia Police are restricting Broad Street parking.

PHILADELPHIA – With Philadelphia Eagles fans expected to take the streets after the Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 4, the Philadelphia Police department is temporarily banning parking on parts of Broad Street.

Police said parking is not permitted on Broad Street from Arch to Pine streets; around City Hall; and from Dickinson Street to Oregon Avenue.

The parking restrictions go into effect at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4 and will be lifted at 3 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5.

Restrictions include the northbound and southbound sides of Broad, as well as the median strip, police said.

No parking signs will be posted along the route where parking is not allowed.
