Burglars Steal Designer Items Worth Thousands From Germantown Apartment: Police

Philadelphia Police said four people who burglarized a Germantown apartment made off with about $7,000 worth of items, including a Gucci handbag and a Luis Vuitton handbag.

According to police, two males and two females entered the Wayne Avenue Apartments building at about 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26.

The foursome then found their way to an apartment, which the entered by forcing the door open, police said.

Inside the apartment, the men and women took three pairs of Louboutin shoes, a Luis Vuitton handbag, and a Gucci handbag, police said.

Police said the items were all valued at $7000.

The four suspects fled the area in an unknown direction by unknown means, according to police.

Police described the suspects as:

• a black male in his early to mid 20s with a goatee and thin build. He was wearing a dark ski hat, two-tone blue hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, and black and white sneakers;
• a white or light skinned black female in her early to mid 20s with dark hair and a stocky build. She was wearing a blue hooded jacket, black stretch pants with a white stripe on each leg, and red sneakers;
• a black female in her early to mid 20s with a medium brown complexion, and a stocky build. She was wearing a dark New York Yankees baseball cap, a white long-sleeved t-shirt with dark green lettering on the arms, blue jeans, and white sneaker;
• a black female in her early to mid 20s with a light complexion and thin build. She was wearing a camouflage jacket with a gray hoodie underneath and dark pants.

Police said the public should not approach the suspects and should call 911 immediately if they are spotted.
