Germantown Community Radio To Feature Northwest Philadelphia Author On Baseball And Class Inequality
This Saturday, May 2, from 10 to 11 AM EST, Germantown Community Radio’s public affairs program Neglected Stories: People, History, Movements will feature an interview with Northwest Philadelphia native Seth Tannenbaum.
Tannenbaum will discuss his new book, Bleacher Seats and Luxury Suites, which explores how Major League Baseball stadiums reflect and reinforce class divisions through luxury suites, premium seating, and reduced affordability for working-class fans.
The conversation examines baseball not simply as sport, but as a window into larger questions of inequality and access in American life.
Listeners can tune in on 92.9 FM or stream live at gtownradio.com.
