Cheltenham Ave. Business Robbed At Gunpoint: Police

The robbery occurred on June 26 at J. Beauty Enterprise Inc. on Cheltenham Avenue, police said.

PHILADELPHIA – A business on Cheltenham Avenue was robbed at gunpoint recently, and Philadelphia Police are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect.

Police said at about 9:15 a.n. Monday, June 26, a black male armed with a handgun entered J. Beauty Enterprise Inc. at 2534 West Cheltenham Ave.

The man demanded cash from the register and made off on foot with $150, police said.

He was last seen running through a driveway toward the 7900 block of North Limekiln Pike, police said.

No one was injured in the incident, police said.

The suspect is described at a black male between 25 and 35 years old with a medium complexion, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 185 pounds and was wearing a Chicago Bull cap, a white sweatshirt with lettering on the back, flue jeans, and multicolored speakers.

Police said the public should not approach the suspects and should call 911 immediately if they are spotted.
