Chestnut Hill Bank Robbed Friday, Suspect Sought: Authorities
Police said a woman in dark-colored clothing, a black hijab, and rose-colored glasses robbed the bank with a demand note on Friday, May 17.
CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA — A Chestnut Hill bank was robbed over the weekend and now the FBI/PPD Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the suspect.
At about 4:28 p.m. on May 17, a woman entered the TD Bank branch located at 8600 Germantown Ave., approached the counter, and presented a demand note to a teller.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a black female in her mid 20s, standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with an average build.
She was wearing dark-colored clothing, a black hijab, and rose-colored glasses.

This subject is considered armed and dangerous.
