Chestnut Hill Bank Robbed At Gunpoint Thursday: Authorities
A man robbed a Citizens Bank on Germantown Avenue at gunpoint last week, according to the FBI/PPD Violent Crimes Task Force.

CHESTNUT HILL PHILADELPHIA — Authorities are hunting for a man who robbed a Chestnut Hill bank at gunpoint last week. A reward is being offered for information leading to this suspect's capture.
According to the FBI/Philadelphia Police Department Violent Crimes Task Force, the robbery occurred at 4:31 p.m. Thursday, March 21 at the Citizens Bank branch at 8616 Germantown Ave.
The man came into the bank, approached the counter, pulled out a silver handgun, and demanded money, authorities said.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank on foot, according to authorities.
He was described as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build and a tattoo or birthmark on his face.

He was wearing a black puffy jacket over a red hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, baseball cap, black mask, red gloves, white sneakers, and was carrying a black bag.
Authorities said he is considered armed and dangerous.
