Pizza Delivery Man Shot Sunday Near Germantown: Police
Police said the 52-year-old man was shot twice in the abdomen and is in critical condition following the Sunday shooting near Germantown.

PHILADELPHIA – A pizza delivery driver is in critical condition after he was shot twice following a pizza delivery Sunday night near Germantown, according to Philadelphia Police.
Police said the shooting occurred at about 8:32 p.m. on the 6200 block of North Beechwood Street.
The 52-year-old driver was shot twice in the abdomen after delivering a pizza in that area, according to police.

Action News reports when officers arrived on scene they could not find the victim, but later learned he went back to the pizza shop he works for.
He was then rushed to Einstein Hospital and placed in critical condition, police said.

The man had just delivered a pizza when he got back into his vehicle and the shooter approached the vehicle. The shooter reached into the vehicle and fired a weapon, according to Action News.
Police have not made an arrest and did not recover a weapon.
